Huddersfield Town’s Aaron Rowe discussed the work that went into the Terriers’ 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
The winger opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time before Juninho Bacuna sealed all three points on the road for Town after the break.
Speaking after the game alongside Harry Toffolo, the winger told #HTTV how much work had gone into the team’s match-winning performance at Forest in the days leading up to the encounter.
“We’ve been working all week for this win so to get it over the line is an amazing feeling,” the 20-year-old explained.
“They boys have been working extremely hard to get it, it’s much-needed.”
Rowe’s strike was his second Town goal and his first in the league, a dream come true he admitted after the game.
“It’s an amazing feeling,” he said.
“I’ve been dreaming about this moment for so long, to finally get the goal. But (more importantly) to get the three points and to have Toffs (Harry Toffolo) back is good.
“The main thing was just to hit it on target. The pitch was quite dry as well, so I just had to settle myself and just get it on target.
“I’m just grateful it went in.”
