TRANSFER: RAMADAN SOBHI JOINS PYRAMIDS

7 September 2020

Egyptian international departs Huddersfield Town

- Ramadan Sobhi joins Pyramids for an undisclosed fee
- Winger returns to Egypt
- Comments from Head of Football Operations Leigh Bromby

Huddersfield Town winger Ramadan Sobhi has completed a move to Egyptian side Pyramids for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old joined Town from Stoke City in June 2018 and went on to make four Premier League appearances for the Club.

He has since had loan spells at Egyptian Premier League side Al Ahly SC before departing the Terriers permanently to join Pyramids.

Huddersfield Town’s Head of Football Operations, Leigh Bromby, commented:

“We tried to respect Ramadan’s wishes in what is a very difficult marketplace in Egypt and we are happy that we came to an arrangement that suited both parties. Our thanks to Pyramids FC, who have been very professional to deal with throughout.

“Everyone at Huddersfield Town wishes Ramadan all the best for the future.”
