- Defender joins Turkish side Kasımpaşa S.K.
- Comments from Head of Football Operations Leigh Bromby

Huddersfield Town defender Florent Hadergjonaj has today completed a permanent transfer to Kasımpaşa S.K.

The terms of the deal will remain undisclosed as Flo re-joins the Turkish Süper Lig side, where he spent the end of the 2019/20 campaign on loan.

The Kosovan international joined Huddersfield Town on loan from 2. Bundesliga side FC Ingolstadt 04 in August 2017 before signing permanently on 1 July 2018.

During his time with the Terriers, Flo has made 73 appearances; starting on 56 occasions.

Huddersfield Town’s Head of Football Operations, Leigh Bromby, commented:

“It has clearly been in the interest of both parties for Flo to continue his career elsewhere and I’m pleased that we’ve been able to complete this deal today.

“Flo enjoyed his time with Kasımpaşa last season and, after a period of negotiation, we’ve come to an agreement that was to our satisfaction.

“We’d like to wish Flo all the best for the future and thank him for his time with us.”
