Huddersfield Town’s new B Team will host the Under-23 side of Premier League Champions Liverpool FC in a pre-season friendly on Monday 7 September 2020.
The B Team, led by Danny Schofield, will play the Reds in a 1pm kick-off behind-closed-doors at the Liverpool FC Academy.
The B Team is newly formed for the 2020/21 season. Along with frequent training with the First Team, who many of the B Team squad members have played alongside during pre-season, the B Team’s fixture schedule will provide the players with top technical tests, such as this game against Liverpool, as well as games against high-quality men’s teams.
This is the second B Team friendly confirmed this week, following on from a home test against Altrincham’s First Team.
