Harry Toffolo believes Huddersfield Town’s win over Nottingham Forest came at a crucial time and now he can’t wait to kick on from it.

The defender was integral in the Club’s first win over the season performing admirably at the back and setting up the only goal of the game.

When speaking after the match, Toffs explained his delight that all the players’ hard work had paid off.

“It’s (the result) massive and a massive weight off our shoulders.

“The Football Club needed a win and as players we’ve worked tirelessly since we met Carlos and his staff. We worked day in, day out, not many days off and today shows that when you put all that effort in you get rewards for it.

“We take the three points, it’s come at a crucial time, it’s an exciting time and we’ve shown how far we’ve come as a Football Club and as a squad. We’re looking forward to kicking on now.”

Toffs got his first assist of the season, overlapping Mbenza and picking out Fraizer Campbell in the box.

“We do that in training every day me and Fraizer; we work on it a lot,” said the defender.

“Fraizer is quality; he showed that today. If you look through the whole team - Ben Hamer, who was exceptional – you can go all the way through the team; everyone stood out.

“You need 11 players who want to fight for the cause. We were like a family today. The togetherness and spirit are something we can use going forward and it’s an exciting time.”
