Promising young striker commits future to the Terriers

- Deal runs until 2022, with a further year’s club option
- 20-year-old striker has impressed since move from Everton

Huddersfield Town B striker Kieran Phillips has today signed a new contract with the Club!

The promising 20-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a deal that runs until the summer of 2022, with the Club having an option of a further year’s extension.

Kieran, who has been handed the number 36 shirt for Carlos Corberán’s squad for the forthcoming 2020/21 Sky Bet Championship season, completed a permanent move to Town this summer after an initial loan from Premier League club Everton in January 2020.

He scored six goals in just four starts and three substitute appearances for Town’s Academy sides during his loan.

Phillips, who is back in training at Canalside after a small injury issue during pre-season, was originally in the Town Academy, but moved to Everton as an Under-13 player.
