Ensure your iFollow account matches your Ticket Office email address

- Huddersfield Town Season Card holders – important iFollow information
- Fans must use iFollow account that uses email address with the Ticket Office
- This needs to be in place by midday on Wednesday to watch Friday’s game

There is an important change that Huddersfield Town Season card holders need to be aware of regarding iFollow HTAFC ahead of Friday night’s Sky Bet Championship game against Nottingham Forest.

Due to the game’s selection for live coverage by Sky Sports, the game is not on general sale to non-Season Card holders in the UK.

Season Card holders can still watch the game on iFollow HTAFC, but the previous system of using codes is not applicable for this fixture.

Instead, Season Card holders must ensure that they watch the game via an iFollow account that uses the email address stored for them by the Ticket Office.

You MUST do this before noon on Wednesday 23 September 2020 to have access to watch Friday evening’s game, as that is when the Club must submit the list of relevant email addresses to EFL Digital.

This will allow EFL Digital to add access to this game with the supplier, Endeavour, at their end.

If you already use the same email address for iFollow HTAFC that you use for the online Ticket Office, no action is needed by the supporter.

If you have more than one Season Card registered to the same email address with our Ticket Office, don’t worry – EFL Digital will allow more than one device to watch the game using the same iFollow account (up to four devices maximum).

To check your email address is the one that our Ticket Office has stored, login to the online Ticket Office HERE. Once logged in, your client reference number should be displayed here.

If you have any questions on your Ticket Office email, please email ticketenquiries@htafc.com.

The Club plans to email supporters individually to indicate whether or not they need to take action - but you must be subscribed to receive marketing emails from the Club to receive this.

Huddersfield Town’s Communications Director David Threlfall-Sykes explained:

“This is an important change in the way that iFollow works that could have very positive connotations for our fans from Forest and beyond.

“There is urgent action needed by a percentage of our Season Card holders now to ensure access for Friday night’s game, but moving forward there is a strong chance this system will replace the previous code-based access for our supporters. In our view, this would be a much simpler process for our supporters.

“Please ensure that you use the email address that the Ticket Office has for you as your account email address on iFollow HTAFC this weekend.”

David added:

“On behalf of everyone at the Club, I would like to thank every single Season Card holder for renewing during this incredibly uncertain time. Their support of the Club cannot be overstated.

“Equally, the patience and understanding from supporters as we use iFollow to watch games is also truly appreciated. Although the viewing figures show that most Season Card holders have watched our opening game, there have been issues for others. Our Ticket Office and Communications teams have worked hard to get fans up and running and will continue to do so.

“A team from the Club spoke with EFL Digital last Friday to give our view on iFollow and how we best move forward to make the process as easy as possible for our fans, and this solution would be a step forward from the code-based system.”
