Pipa earned his third cap for Spain’s Under-21s

- Pipa featured in Spain U21s’ win over Faroe Islands
- The right-back was on the bench against Kazakhstan
- Huddersfield Town’s defender has three caps for Spain’s U21s

During the October international break, Pipa earned his third cap for Spain’s U21s as they qualified for the 2021 Under-21 European Championships.

The right-back featured for 69 minutes in their Euro qualifier at Tórshavn against Faroe Islands. The Spanish youngsters ran out 2-0 winners.

The victory meant that a win over Kazakhstan would win Group F and qualify Spain’s U21s for the 2021 Under-21 European Championships.

Pipa was on the bench in that game as they ran out 3-0 victors. That means they will top Group F winning seven of their eight qualifiers so far, picking up 22 points in the process.

Spain’s U21s will host the Faroe Islands and Israel in Marbella in November in their final Euro qualifying matches.

Next summer Spain will be looking to defend their Euro U21 title after they were crowned Champions in 2019.

Pipa will now return to Huddersfield Town ahead of this weekend’s Sky Bet Championship match against Swansea City.
