Huddersfield Town forward Micah Obiero has joined Sky Bet League 2 side Carlisle United on loan.
The 19-year-old’s loan spell will run until 1 January 2021 as he gains his first taste of regular men’s football.
Micah will join Chris Beech’s side who currently sit eighth in the Sky Bet League 2 table with nine points from their first five matches.
Micah joined the Town Academy midway through the 2016/17 campaign after a successful trial period from the XYZ Academy in Hackney, London.
Since that time, the forward – who can play out wide and up front - has impressed in the youth set-up scoring goals for the Under-19s and B Team.
On the final day of the 2019/20 campaign, Micah made his Huddersfield Town and Sky Bet Championship debut coming on against Millwall.
Huddersfield Town’s Academy Manager, Emyr Humphreys, commented:
“Micah has worked hard in our Academy set-up and deserves this loan move.
“Gaining your first taste of regular men’s football is really important for a young player and he will experience that at a good, competitive level.
“This will be a really good test for Micah, one I’m sure he will relish.”
