You can now watch all the highlights from Huddersfield Town’s 1-0 win over Derby County in the Sky Bet Championship!
The Terriers took all three points from the encounter courtesy of Juninho Bacuna’s second half strike at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Town had the better of the chances in the first half, going close on three occasions through Pipa, whilst Carel Eiting also had a succession of shots blocked.
Not long after the break, Bacuna put the Terriers into the lead, slotting Harry Toffolo’s incisive cutback in the bottom corner.
Good work from Ben Hamer at the other end denied former Town midfielder Duane Holmes from levelling the scores in the closing stages before Naby Sarr went close to his first goal for the Club, but his looping header was tipped over by David Marshall in the Derby goal.
With five minutes of time about to be added on, Matthew Clarke had the visitors’ best chance, heading onto the post from point blank range but the Rams couldn’t find the equaliser as Town held on to register a second win in four days.
