AN UPDATE ON CANALSIDE

29 October 2020

Including an extensive video tour of the site

- An update on the current development at Canalside
- See a detailed video tour of the training ground
- Nearly 50 minutes of footage

As the latest stage of improvements and developments come to a close at Canalside – the training ground of Huddersfield Town – HTTV has put together a detailed video tour of the site.

Featuring interviews with Chief Executive Mark Devlin, Head of Football Operations Leigh Bromby and Academy Manager Emyr Humphreys, the 50-minute video takes you on a tour of the site – all the way from the new secure entrance to the pitches at the back of the site, and everything between!

Over £6 million has been invested in the training complex since the Club gained promotion to the Premier League in 2017, and the latest significant improvements are now practically complete.

A large portion of that investment has been spent on the most important aspect – the pitches, including a brand new DESSO surface and a complete rehaul of the Academy pitches located over the canal.

Much of this work was detailed in the video released by the Club in 2018, with the outstanding item being the proposed new First Team building. That building is currently on pause, as is explained in the video.
