HTAFC FAN MEMORIAL TO RETURN AT BLACKBURN GAME

14 November 2020

Initiative returns for seventh season

- HTAFC Fan Memorial returns at Blackburn game
- A chance to remember Town fans lost in 2020
- Picture & text to be shown in programme and on social media

Huddersfield Town will give supporters the chance to remember their loved ones who have passed away during 2020, as has now become tradition at the last home game of the year.

The Club will remember everyone associated with Huddersfield Town who has lost their life over the course of the year at the match against Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday 29 December 2020.

Before kick-off supporters who sent in their memorials will be able to see their remembrance images and text on the Club’s social media channels and YouTube, and they will also be included in the digital match day programme. Supporters who send in a memorial will receive access to the Blackburn programme.

Huddersfield Town’s Supporter Services Manager Robyn Kennerdale commented:

“This will be the seventh season that we have dedicated our last home game to remembering those Town supporters we have sadly lost throughout the year.

“Though supporters may not be in the Stadium, we are proud to continue our tradition of pausing to reflect on the year, and remember the loved ones who are no longer with us.”

If you know of a Town fan who has passed away during the last 12 months who you would like to be remembered in this way, please send an email including the person’s name, your relationship to them, a good quality photo of them in JPEG format and a maximum of 20 accompanying words to supporterservices@htafc.com.

Please note that, depending on available space, the text is subject to editing.

The deadline for inclusion will be on Wednesday 9 December 2020 at 5pm. Regrettably, any emails received after this deadline will not be included.
