Watch all the key action from Huddersfield Town’s 4-3 defeat against Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium right here.

Town attacked well on a miserable afternoon in the Midlands but were made to pay for some very sloppy defensive moments against a big, powerful side.

Another fantastic team move opened the scoring in Town’s favour, with Josh Koroma playing in Harry Toffolo who picked out Carel Eiting perfectly with a dinked cross, leaving the Dutchman to send a controlled volley into the far corner.

Tyrese Campbell – scourge of Town at the John Smith’s Stadium last season – then turned the tide, first smashing home a second ball from a set piece that dropped in the penalty area before drilling a low shot between Joel Pereira’s legs from close range.

Isaac Mbenza restored parity brilliantly, breaking the defensive line with a bending run to latch onto a fantastic Eiting pass and sweeping home with a first-time finish.

However, Town gifted possession to the hosts late in the half, with Campbell’s fierce cross hitting Richard Stearman and nestling inside the far post.

Sam Clucas scored the pick of the home side’s goals early in the second half, cleverly jinking past three challenges before beating Pereira with a shot that came through a crowd of players.

Town fought back, with Mbenza whipping a wide free kick onto the head of Naby Sarr for his first goal for the Club.

The Terriers enjoyed the lion’s share of possession after that but couldn’t find another equaliser.
