- NHS staff to receive complimentary tickets and replica shirts for children

The Board of Huddersfield Town has unanimously agreed to offer complimentary tickets to NHS staff for the Club’s games to be played during the remainder of the 2019/20 season, as our way of saying thank you to them for their amazing work and bravery during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Club have ringfenced 2,000 tickets that will be available to any staff working in the NHS, with full details to follow on htafc.com in the coming weeks with how NHS staff can take up the Club’s offer.

The Club will also offer children of NHS staff free junior 2019/20 replica shirts.

Chief Executive Mark Devlin explained:

“The NHS are working harder than ever, and we felt it only right to reward them and show our appreciation as and when our games start again.

“That first game back at the Stadium will be an incredibly emotional affair for many people, and to celebrate those people in the NHS is the right thing to do.

“As a family focused Club, we also appreciate the major impact that the pandemic is having on the many families of NHS staff and the offer of a 2019/20 junior replica shirt, to act as a present to their children who perhaps haven’t seen their parents as often during this time, was again important for us.

“Further details will be revealed in the coming weeks of how NHS staff can redeem these.

“In the meantime, our advice to our fans is to stick to the Government guidelines, and most importantly stay safe.”

Tickets and replica shirts will be subject to availability and while stocks last.

We will also be thinking of our Season Card holders who work for the NHS, and again, full details will be released in the next few weeks.

Everyone at Huddersfield Town urges supporters to stay home and stay safe.
