Has isolation got you looking for something new to watch? Well, Huddersfield Town’s Steve Mounié is on hand to give you his top five Netflix recommendations!

With Covid-19 creating plenty of time for some binge watching, htafc.com caught up with the Town striker to find out what he’s been watching.

One – On My Block

“My first Netflix choice is On My Block.

“It’s a series about some young teenagers who are living their life on their block in Los Angeles – it’s very good, I enjoy it!”

Two – Dave Chapelle

“My second recommendation is anything by Dave Chappelle – he’s a comedian.

“You can watch every single show he’s made on Netflix and he’s really funny.

“He’s one of my favourite comedians, there’s some French comedians that I love, but I’m not sure that they’re on Netflix!

“Dave’s the only one that speaks English and I love him.”

Three - Marlon

“Marlon is a series with Marlon Wayans – he’s an American actor and comedian with nine siblings, most of them work in comedy.

“It’s another funny series, loosely based on Marlon’s own life, it’s a lot of fun!

“If you couldn’t tell, I really like comedy, and during this difficult time it’s very nice to laugh at home and try to have fun because that’s the only way to change our minds.”

Four – The Get Down

“It’s a series about how hip hop was born and the evolution of hip hop.

“It’s set in the 1970s in the Bronx, New York City.

“I listen to a lot of hip hop and some afrobeat as well – that’s my type of music.”

Five – Family Reunion

“My final Netflix recommendation is Family Reunion – it’s another series, another comedy series.

“It’s about a family who relocate to be closer to their wider family.

“It’s a really nice one, it’s really funny!”

There you have it! Why not give them a watch and let Steve know what you think!
