Town have enjoyed some memorable wins over Leeds United in recent years.

Here are some of our favourites!

Huddersfield Town 2-1 Leeds United – 05/02/2017

In February 2017, The Terriers took all three points at the John Smith’s Stadium thanks to a last-minute goal from Michael Hefele.

Town’s Izzy Brown opened the scoring in the 27th minute, but Chris Woods was quick to equalise for the visitors just eight minutes later.

Just as it looked like the game was heading for a draw, Michael Hefele met Aaron Mooy’s deflection to score the winner for Town! That sparked memorable celebrations on the pitch!

Leeds United 0-1 Huddersfield Town – 10/09/2016

Huddersfield Town left Elland Road victorious in September 2016.

Town broke the deadlock in the second half when Aaron Mooy smashed a 25-yard shot into the top corner.

The result was the Terriers fifth win in their opening six games, sending them four points clear at the top of the table.

Leeds United 1-4 Huddersfield Town – 19/03/2016

The Terriers beat Leeds United 4-1 at Elland Road in March 2016.

Stuart Dallas kicked off proceedings, netting a goal for the hosts in the 22nd minute.

Town responded just before the break, with Mark Hudson levelling the score.

The second half saw Huddersfield score three goals in the space of eight minutes. Harry Bunn, Karim Matmour and Nahki Wells all found their way onto the scoresheet.

Huddersfield Town 3-2 Leeds United – 26/10/2013

In October 2013, Huddersfield Town were victorious after a narrow 3-2 win.

Matt Smith headed the visitors into an early lead, but Danny Ward equalised soon after with a fierce strike.

Tom Lees diverted Adam Hammill's cross into his own net to give Huddersfield the lead, but Dexter Blackstock headed in an equaliser on his debut just 10 minutes later.

The Terriers continued to pile on the pressure with Jon Stead scoring the winner in the 77th minute.

Huddersfield Town 1-0 Leeds United – 15/04/2008

Huddersfield Town beat Leeds United 1-0 at the John Smith’s Stadium in April 2008.

The only goal of the game came from Andy Holdsworth in the 76th minute. He headed in Joe Skarz’s cross to secure all three points for the Terriers.
