CORE TO HOST PEDAL FOR POUNDS PEDALATHON

4 March 2020

Local businesses invited to raise money for P4P11 charities

- Huddersfield Town and Core Facility Services have teamed up
- Pedal for Pounds Pedalathon to raise money for four P4P11 charities
- Local businesses encouraged to get involved

Huddersfield Town have teamed up with Club partners Core to hold a Pedal for Pounds Pedalathon to raise money for the four great P4P11 charities!

You are invited to come down to Independence House in Huddersfield and cycle on static bikes for as little, or as long, as you like, soak up the atmosphere and join in the fun!

The Core P4P11 Pedalathon will be happening daily during office hours between Wednesday 22- Friday 24 April 2020, coinciding with P4P11 The Ride of Yorkshire with Made by Cooper! The Core staff based at Independence House will have refreshments and music to motivate the cyclists and an active social media feed reporting on events. There will also be a daily leader board and prizes to be won.

Participating businesses will be invited to make a suggested minimum donation of £25 to Pedal for Pounds before taking part, either online or by bringing their donation with them on the day. That way we can make a real impact on the final total together, which will go towards the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Town Foundation, Kirkwood Hospice and Platform 1.

Town’s Commercial Director, Sean Jarvis, commented:

“It’s great to have Core’s support ahead of Pedal for Pounds 11.

“We’d love to see as many people as possible come and be a part of the Pedalathon, whether you’re an individual or a business, just come and get involved!

“We’re hoping to have some special guests drop in to help motivate participants, so you don’t know who you might meet!”

Gareth Henderson, Justin Holley, Alec Jackson and Mike Puttock from Core will be joining the P4P11 teams on their 300-mile ride around God’s Own County visiting all Yorkshire clubs in the top five divisions of English football.

Please contact Panna.Mistry@corefacility.co.uk to sign up or find out more about getting involved.
