Huddersfield Town are looking to recruit accommodation providers for young professional football apprentices in the local area.

Lodgings should provide good quality accommodation in an area which provides easy access to the Training Ground, Canalside, by public transport.

In addition, homes must provide a safe setting for the apprentices to live and study during their weekly training schedule, ideally in a family environment.

The role will require full-time residential accommodation and will require the provision of breakfast and a high-quality nutritional evening meal on a daily basis with occasional lunches. Laundry facilities are also required. Wireless access to the Internet is essential.

Ideally the Club is looking for providers who can accommodate two players and all enquiries should be made in the first instance via email to the Club’s Academy Secretary via karen.jagger@htafc.com.

Further details and information on the application process and remuneration will be made available at that point.

If you think you are the kind of family who can work with our Club in providing the best chances for our young footballers of the future, then this may be for you!

Huddersfield Town AFC and the EFL are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all accommodation providers to share this commitment. This role involves supervision and work with young people and is subject to Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks. Clearance through The FA CRB system is required. As such this post is exempt for the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and the applicant must disclose all previous convictions including spent convictions. Two written references will also be required. Applicants will, in addition, need to demonstrate that the accommodation meets certain safety standards. Applicants will be expected to undertake training appropriate to the role.
