EDT Coach to take charge for Wednesday’s Sky Bet Championship match

- Interim team to lead the Terriers in Millwall game
- Danny Schofield will lead Huddersfield Town
- Clements, Worthington and Elphick will assist Danny at the Den

Huddersfield Town will be led by Danny Schofield for their final Sky Bet Championship game of the season.

The Terriers travel to Millwall on Wednesday 22 July 2020 and, following the departure of the Cowley brothers on Sunday, Town’s EDT Coach Danny will take charge for this game.

On the night, he will be assisted by Head of Goalkeeping Paul Clements, Academy Coach Jon Worthington and experienced centre-back Tommy Elphick, who is on the road to recovery from a long-term knee injury.

Both Danny and Jon played for the Club before taking up coaching roles, with over 550 First Team appearances under their collective belts.

Schofield also played for Wednesday night’s opponents Millwall for two seasons after leaving Town.

Elphick has played over 400 games in his impressive career across the highest levels of English football.

Danny will speak to the media at Town’s pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
