TREVOH: WE’LL GO THERE TO WIN

Trevoh Chalobah on the impact of a change in formation

- Chalobah looks ahead to the next game against Hull City

Huddersfield Town midfielder Trevoh Chalobah explained how a change in formation has already benefitted the First Team.

The Terriers have welcomed four new signings during the January transfer window, allowing Manager Danny Cowley to change the formation to his preferred 4-2-3-1.

So far this season that has only been utilised in a few games due to player availability, and Chalobah discussed how it benefits the players.

“I think that’s the formation that the Manager and us have been waiting to play, with a number 10.

“It does help us a lot, it was good playing that formation again and seeing how beneficial it was for us and the team.”

All four of Town’s new signings played in the game against Brentford and Town’s midfielder explained how they’ve settled in so far.

“I think the team needs that, you need bodies in the building to get spirits up and they’ve added a lot to the team already.”

Hull City currently sit 12th in the Sky Bet Championship, but Chalobah explained how the First Team can take confidence from their 3-0 victory over them at the John Smith’s Stadium in October.

“That game was a massive win for us.

“We played well that game and I think we need to go with the same mentality.

“Obviously they’re a good side and they’re doing well, but we’ll go there to win.”
