Four of Huddersfield Town’s First Team squad paid a visit to Club Partner Donovan Smith Opticians to raise awareness of January’s Glaucoma awareness month.
Juninho Bacuna, Trevoh Chalobah, Matty Daly and Josh Koroma travelled to Donovan Smith Opticians in Brighouse to take part in various eye tests. In classic competitive fashion, the players compared each other’s final score to see who had the best visual perceptions.
We also caught up with Donovan Smith Opticians Director Robert Foulds to discuss the importance of Glaucoma awareness month this January.
“Glaucoma is a major cause of blindness worldwide.
“You only become aware of it often when it’s too late, so it’s all about having a regular eye exam.”
