LOAN: AARON ROWE JOINS BROMLEY

31 January 2020

Teenage winger moves to top Vanarama National League side

- Aaron Rowe joins Bromley on loan
- 19-year-old departs Huddersfield Town until 29 February
- Winger follows path of Rarmani Edmonds-Green

Winger Aaron Rowe has joined Vanarama National League promotion hopefuls Bromley on loan until 29 February 2020.

The 19-year-old, who made two appearances for Town’s First Team during the 2018/19 Premier League campaign, follows in the footsteps of Rarmani Edmonds-Green, who played for the Ravens earlier this season before returning to make his Sky Bet Championship debut.

It’s the second loan spell of the season for Aaron, following a month at Boston United that was interrupted by injury.

Aaron, who can also operate at right back, joined the Terriers after a successful trial period in February 2018, having previously been on the books at Leyton Orient.

Huddersfield Town’s Academy Manager Leigh Bromby commented:

“We feel that this is the next step in Aaron’s development both on and off the pitch.

“We really value the high level he’s going to and he’ll have to deal with the demands of full-time senior football.

“This is a development loan for him that meets his specific needs; we’ve had success of these in the past with the likes of Lewis O’Brien.

“When he comes back, we will then be able to see the next step for him. It’s this strategy that enables our players to eventually impact the First Team.”
