Huddersfield Town striker Karlan Grant thought the team showed great character during today’s dramatic win over Hull City.
“It’s a great feeling,” Karlan commented.
“It’s not been an easy period and I think off the back of Brentford today we showed great character.
“It wasn’t the greatest of starts, but we started the second half unbelievably well and it’s a deserved three points.”
Karlan scored his 13th goal of the season for the Terriers to get himself on the scoresheet, a feeling he admits was nice to welcome back.
“It’s about time!
“I’m happy to score but I’m also happy to get a win.”
Despite a well-deserved win for Town, the hosts proved to be a threat, as shown in the second half. The striker discussed what the First Team can learn from that part of the game.
“I think we need to know that when we’re playing away from home the home team’s going to have spells and they had their spell.
“We just needed to calm down a little bit, we started off so well, they were on the back foot, we didn’t quite get the chance that we wanted to, but at the end of the day we stuck to our guns and got the deserved win.”
