You can now watch all the highlights from Huddersfield Town’s Under-19s game against Rangers.
A late winner condemned the Young Terriers to a narrow defeat after a good performance in Glasgow.
Town’s youngsters almost took the lead in the opening five minutes, when Tim Akinola curled a right footed effort, which rattled the crossbar.
Rangers responded to the threat, but Glenn Middleton’s chance blazed over the bar.
The Young Terriers broke the deadlock just after the half hour mark thanks to Micah Obiero, who fired an effort into the back of the net to score his eighth goal of the season.
The hosts found an equaliser just before the half-time whistle with Glenn Middleton firing an effort past Jacob Chapman.
After the break Town came out looking for a winner and came closest to doing so when a Town trialist was fed through the Rangers backline but struck the post with his effort.
Just as the game looked to be heading for a draw the hosts found a late winner. Robbie Ure fired a header past the ‘keeper as a result of a good delivery from Kyle McClelland.

The Under-19s are next in action on Tuesday 28 January 2020 when they welcome Celtic to PPG Canalside. The match will kick off at 2pm and Huddersfield Town supporters can attend!
