New Huddersfield Town defender Harry Toffolo is keen to repay the faith of Danny and Nicky Cowley.

The left-back has linked up with the management duo for the second time in his career after a successful period at Lincoln City.

During his first interview with the Club, Harry detailed how excited he was to develop his game under them, once again.

“When I’ve worked with Danny and Nicky before I knew the values that they have and it’s a massive part of my life in terms of the values they live by.

“I want to build my relationship with them, and we’ve had a lot of success together.

“They improved me as a player since I joined Lincoln 18 months ago, so if I can continue to do that and emulate what I did in the last 18 months here in Huddersfield, that would be a bonus to me.

“They fine tune absolutely everything, which is why they’ve had the success they’ve had. I’ve done a lot of work with Nicky on my clips and I’m looking forward to doing that again.

“Danny is very thorough in his work and the lads in the dressing room can see how thorough they are. It’s exciting, I’m happy to be back with them and excited for the challenge.”

The 24-year-old explained how the ethos of the Cowleys and Huddersfield Town perfectly fit his style of play.

“I know they want people that work hard and give everything for the badge; that’s what the fans can expect from me.

“I’m someone who will run themselves into the ground every game and that’s all you can ask for as a player and a manager; that’s what they want from me to that’s what I’ll do.

“They told me it’s a fantastic club. I saw a sign that it’s the Working Class Club and that’s me, what I want to be and I live by that.

“I played in the game at the John Smith’s Stadium for Lincoln when we won that day. I saw the atmosphere and now to be on the other side of the fence is exciting.”

This will be Harry’s second taste of Sky Bet Championship football. He made seven appearances in the league for Rotherham during the 2015/16 campaign.

He explained that this is the perfect time for him to prove himself at this level.

“You go from playing in front of 2,000 to playing in the Sky Bet Championship. It’s a good opportunity for me to showcase why I believe I should be back in this league and to repay the trust that Danny and Nicky have showed in me by bringing me here.

“At the end of the day I’m up against a lot of quality players, but I’m also playing with Championship standard players. I’ve now got to up my game and I’m looking forward to it.”
