FOUR YOUNGSTERS GO ON LOAN

17 January 2020

Four Young Terriers to gain regular First Team experience

- Kian Harratt joins Harrogate Town on month long loan
- Romoney Crichlow-Noble joins Welling United for remainder of season
- Jaheim Headley and Nassim Kherbouche go on work experience

Huddersfield Town Academy’s Kian Harratt, Romoney Crichlow-Noble, Jaheim Headley and Nassim Kherbouche have today gone on loan to gain regular senior football!

Striker Kian Harratt has joined Vanarama National League side Harrogate Town on loan for an initial month’s stay, which will run until Thursday 13 February 2020 inclusive.

After training with Town’s First Team squad on a regular basis, the youngster made his debut for the Club against Leeds United at the beginning of December.

Kian will now join Harrogate Town to test himself regularly in the fifth tier of English football.

Managed by Simon Weaver, Harrogate are currently third in their league – three points off the first placed Barrow.

Huddersfield Town defender Romoney Crichlow-Noble has joined Vanarama National League South side Welling United on loan for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.

The 20-year-old centre-back will join Bradley Quinton’s side who currently sit 21st with 23 points from 25 games.

This is the youngster’s third loan move after he was recalled from Vanarama National League side Hartlepool United earlier this month after only making four appearances.

He’s also no stranger to the sixth tier of English Football, as he made eight appearances for Bradford Park Avenue in the Vanarama National League North last season.

Defender Jaheim Headley has joined BetVictor Northern Premier Division side Hyde United on work experience.

The 18-year-old left-back will join Darren Kelly’s side who currently sit ninth with 33 points from 26 games.

Work experience moves work like loans for players who are still on Academy scholarships and not on full-time professional contracts. They are open-ended, with no end date, and offer good flexibility to clubs.

Headley will be joining fellow Young Terrier Luke Mewitt, who had his loan at Hyde extended for the rest of the 2019/20 season.

Defender Nassim Kherbouche has joined North West Counties League Division One North side Emley AFC on work experience.

The 18-year-old centre-back will join Nigel Wakefield’s side who currently sit second with 43 points from 22 games.

Kherbouche joined Huddersfield Town ahead of the 2018/19 season from Mass Elite Academy in London.
