Town fans will have fond memories of the dominant 3-0 win over The Tigers earlier this season, but no-one’s smile will shine brighter than Danny Cowley’s, who will remember the result for being his first home win as Town Manager.
After failing to score in what was a dominate first half, the Terriers opened the scoring through Karlan Grant in the 69th minute, who volleyed home Juninho Bacuna’s pass.
After setting up the opening goal, Bacuna followed up with a goal of his own six minutes later, slotting Adama Diakhaby’s cross into the bottom corner.
It was Elias Kachunga who scored the third, wrapping up the three points and securing Danny Cowley’s first home win as Huddersfield Town Manager.
