Huddersfield Town left-back Harry Toffolo was delighted to score his first goal for the Club and to earn the Terriers a point.
The 24-year-old drew Town level in the 81st minute smashing the ball past Kelle Roos at the near post.
When speaking after the game, he explained what that moment felt like.
“It was unbelievable,” smiled Toffs.
“It was good to get back in the game and be able to equalise was fantastic. The manner of the goal was great. Hopefully I can build on that.
“As an attacking full-back, who also wants to defend, you want to be able to contribute with both assists and goals.
“If I can pop up now and again to help get points on the board, then that’s great.”
It wasn’t just the goal that was special for Harry during the game. He also received an incredible reaction from the supporters.
“I could hear the fans all game; it’s an incredible support. I firmly believe they were behind us when we got the goal.
“To have them singing my song at the end was a really special moment for myself, and my family were in there as well.”
The draw means that Town are five points clear of the relegation zone and Town’s left-back believes it’ll be a big point come the end of the season.
“I think it’s a massive point. You look at the other results in the table, you might look back on this at the end of the season and think this is a really good point.
“I thought it was turning into a really good away day, but unfortunately, they scored.
“We got ourselves back in the game, showed a lot of character and reliance, something this group has in abundance. We are looking forward to building on this.
“We have an exciting game at the Liberty Stadium next week, so it’s exciting, the times are good and we’re looking forward to it.”
