Three changes made to the team by Danny Cowley
- Huddersfield Town side named to face QPR
- Jonas Lössl starts on his return to the Terriers
- Jonathan Hogg back after injury, but Karlan Grant out with a knock
Huddersfield Town Manager Danny Cowley has made three changes to the starting line-up for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Queens Park Rangers; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Having returned to the Club on loan from Everton on transfer deadline day, Jonas Lössl comes straight into the side to face Rangers. It is the Denmark international’s 73rd appearance for the Club and the first since the 1-1 draw with Manchester United at the John Smith’s Stadium on 5 May 2019.
As a result, Joel Coleman is a substitute and Academy ‘keeper Jacob Chapman drops out of the match day squad.
The second change comes in midfield, where Jonathan Hogg returns after a four-game absence through suspension and injury. The Town stalwart replaces Trevoh Chalobah, who is also a substitute this afternoon.
Unfortunately, Karlan Grant misses out today with a knock sustained in training this week. Danny Simpson returns to the team in his place after missing the last two games with his own injury to face his former club; he played for QPR in the 2013/14 season.
Chris Willock is in Town’s match day squad for the first time following his January move from Benfica, with Jaden Brown and Demeaco Duhaney dropping out of the match day 18.
Alongside, Grant, the Cowley brothers are without the services of the injured Kamil Grabara (head), Tommy Elphick (knee), Alex Pritchard (knee), Collin Quaner (hip) and Matty Daly (quad) today.
