Huddersfield Town travel to the Liberty Stadium to face Swansea City in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday 22 February, 3pm kick off.

Town go into their second consecutive away game following a 1-1 draw away at Pride Park against Derby County. The Terriers put in a good performance against the Rams before Harry Toffolo won Danny Cowley’s side a point.

The Swans also come into this game off the back of a draw. Steve Cooper’s side were involved in a 4-4 draw against Hull City. Swansea haven’t won in their last five games. Their last win came at home against Wigan on Saturday 18 January 2020.

In the reverse fixture in November 2019, Town were held at the John Smith’s Stadium to a 1-1 draw.

THE OPPOSITION

Ahead of this weekend’s fixture, Swansea sit 11th in the Sky Bet Championship, five points off the Play-Off places.

Steve Cooper’s side will be looking to build on their home form, having picked up 25 of their 48 points whilst playing at the Liberty Stadium. They’ve won seven of their home games this campaign.

The Swans have the seventh best away form in the Sky Bet Championship.

Since the turn of the year, the Play-Off hopefuls have won two games, both at home. They come into this game off the back of draws against both QPR and Hull City.

André Ayew

Swansea’s top goal scorer joined the Club in 2017 from West Ham and has made significant contributions to the Swans this season. He has the ability to play as a striker, out wide and in the number 10 role.

19-year-old Brewster joined Swansea on loan from Liverpool FC and linked back up with his former England U17 Manager Steve Cooper. TEAM NEWS – TOWN

Manager Danny Cowley will detail Huddersfield Town’s latest team news at his press conference on Friday 21 February 2020.

Danny was without Karlan Grant (side), Tommy Elphick (knee), Alex Pritchard (knee) and Collin Quaner (hip) for Town’s game against Derby.

TEAM NEWS – SWANSEA

Swansea City will be without George Byers for the remainder of the season after the midfielder suffered a high ankle sprain in the defeat to Derby. Whilst, Mike van der Hoorn looks set to return to training.

Defender Joe Rondon missed the draw against Hull City after just coming back from a long-term injury. He is, however, likely to be back in contention this weekend.
