Huddersfield Town midfielder Lewis O’Brien has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship January Goal of the Month!

The 21-year-old’s thunderous half-volley against Barnsley has been selected for the prestigious award. He couldn’t have hit the shot any sweeter!

Lewis is up against QPR’s Bright Osayi-Samuel and Blackburn Rovers’ Adam Armstrong for the prize.

The winner of the Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month for January will be announced on Friday 14 February 2020.

The shortlist for the Goal of the Month was decided by a judging panel following suggestions from supporters via Twitter.

The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, Sky Bet Sponsorship Executive Matt Goodwin and EFL Senior Media Manager Rob Meaden.
