Huddersfield Town’s attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe was disappointed with the defeat to Cardiff City.
The Terriers were beaten 3-0 by the Bluebirds at the John Smith’s Stadium.
When speaking after the game, Emile explained how frustrated he was with the result.
“I think we started quite well, first 15 minutes we were passing it well and had some good movement.
“But you know, their counter was quite good, and they were strong on set pieces in both boxes; it’s really disappointing to be honest.
“I thought in the second half we didn’t really get at them enough, they defended quite well and it’s a real disappointment.”
Tonight, was a new test for Emile as he had to deal with the strength and physicality of Neil Harris’ side. He explained how he found dealing with that.
“I think it was a big test for me, coming up against a strong and physical team like Cardiff.
“I felt confident and tried to get on with it but like I said it wasn’t our night tonight and we’ll go again on Saturday.”
