Carlos Corberán names an unchanged XI from midweek
- Huddersfield Town side named to face Watford
- Head Coach Carlos Corberán names an unchanged starting XI
- Isaac Mbenza makes his 50th competitive appearance for the Club
Huddersfield Town Head Coach Carlos Corberán has named an unchanged starting line-up for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Watford; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.
The side is the same one that started the midweek draw at Coventry City, which means that Jonathan Hogg captains Town against one of his former clubs. ‘Hoggy’ made 84 appearances for Watford between 2011 and 2013 ahead of his move to West Yorkshire.
Lewis O’Brien starts his 50th competitive game for the Club this afternoon, whilst Isaac Mbenza makes his 50th competitive appearance.
There is one change to the squad from Wednesday night’s fixture, with 17-year-old winger Pat Jones making his first appearance in a competitive match day squad. Having scored in the midweek FA Youth Cup game against Newcastle United, Wales Under-17 international Pat is among the substitutes in place of Ben Jackson, who captained the B Team in their game at Brentford earlier today.
Corberán is without Ben Hamer (groin), Tommy Elphick (knee), Richard Stearman (hamstring), Josh Koroma (hamstring), Danny Ward (hamstring), Christopher Schindler (knee), Matty Daly (hamstring) and Kieran Phillips (knee).
