TEAM NEWS: TOWN vs SHEFF WED

8 December 2020

One change made to the starting XI

- Huddersfield Town side named to face Sheffield Wednesday
- Rarmani Edmonds-Green comes in to replace Christopher Schindler
- Side otherwise unchanged from the win over QPR

Huddersfield Town Head Coach Carlos Corberán has made one change to the starting line-up for tonight’s Sky Bet Championship game against Sheffield Wednesday; 7.45pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

As expected, Club Captain Christopher Schindler misses out through the knee injury he sustained in the second half of Saturday’s 3-0 win over Queens Park Rangers.

Rarmani Edmonds-Green comes in to start his second Championship game, and his first under Corberán. Tonight will be the 21-year-old’s fifth competitive appearance in Town colours.

The side is otherwise unchanged from Saturday, which means Jonathan Hogg will captain the side on his 250th competitive appearance for the Club.

Fraizer Campbell makes his 50th Sky Bet Championship appearance for the Terriers this evening!

The space vacated by Schindler in the match day 20 goes to Álex Vallejo, who is among the substitutes tonight after recovering from the small hamstring issue that ruled him out at the weekend.

There’s further changes on the bench, as striker Kieran Phillips replaces attacking midfielder Matty Daly and Aaron Rowe comes in for Demeaco Duhaney, who misses out with a slight hip problem.

Tonight is Kieran Phillips’ third appearance in the Sky Bet Championship match day 20, but he’s yet to make his debut.

Alongside Schindler (knee) and Demeaco Duhaney (hip), Corberán is without Tommy Elphick (knee) and Richard Stearman (hamstring).
