Huddersfield Town defender Rarmani Edmonds-Green was pleased the Terriers could react to the defeat last time out by taking a hard-fought point from the 0-0 draw at Coventry City.

The Terriers responded to the loss at Bournemouth on Saturday with a clean sheet and a well-earned point against the Sky Blues at St Andrew’s.

The young defender was pleased with the Terriers’ efforts during the contest in the Midlands.

“It was a good reaction from what happened on Saturday,” the 21-year-old said.

“I hope we showed the fans what we can do.

“It’s positive, it’s a clean sheet, we take the point and go on to Saturday now.”

It’s fair to say Rams played more than his part in the Terriers taking something from the encounter, producing a stunning goal-line clearance to prevent the hosts from breaking the deadlock late in the game.

Rams looked back on the crucial moment when speaking to #HTTV post-match.

“I banged it off the post to be fair!

“So, it was just luck, but luck was on our side today and I was just thankful.”

Wednesday night’s encounter was the third successive game in which the young defender has started alongside Naby Sarr at centre-back for the Terriers.

That partnership at the heart of Town’s defence has now produced two clean sheets from those three matches and playing alongside Sarr is something the Academy graduate has been relishing in recent weeks.

“Obviously he’s more experienced than me, he’s always helping me and always talking to me.

"I'm enjoying it a lot."
