The Terriers made it four unbeaten home games by securing all three points at the John Smith’s Stadium thanks to Josh Koroma and Isaac Mbenza.

Pipa’s ball found its way to Koroma at the back post before the forward picked out the bottom corner to register his sixth goal of the season in the 11th minute.

Just moments later, a foul on Koroma led to a free-kick. Isaac Mbenza stepped up to curl the ball into the top corner to double Town’s lead.

The Terriers almost went on to bag a third just after the half-hour mark after another wonderful sweeping move, but Koroma’s shot from just inside of the box drifted just over the bar.

Moments into the second-half Town had the opportunity to make it a three-goal lead. A penalty was given after Juninho Bacuna was brought down inside the box, but midfielder fired the spot-kick wide.

Town went on to try a final attempt for a third in the final minutes of the game, seeing a cross from Isaac Mbenza just miss Jaden Brown’s run at the back post.
