Lewis O’Brien picks up another award to finish the campaign

- Town’s best goal of the 2019/20 season is selected
- Lewis O’Brien’s stunning strike at Barnsley wins
- Steve Mounié and Emile Smith Rowe runners-up

Lewis O’Brien’s stunning strike at Barnsley in January 2020 has been voted as the Club’s best goal of the 2019/20 campaign!

The long-range strike in the Yorkshire derby at Oakwell has just pipped Steve Mounié’s equally excellent effort from 25 yards in the 2-1 home win over Blackburn Rovers just a month earlier.

Emile Smith Rowe’s winning goal in the 2-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion – the result that secured Town’s Sky Bet Championship status for 2020/21 – finished third.

This award caps off an excellent season for Lewis, who also received the Hargreaves Memorial Trophy having topped the supporters’ votes for Player of the Year.
