Attacking midfielder re-joins Sky Bet League 1 side on loan

- Attacking midfielder re-joins Peterborough United
- Loan will run until the end of the season

Huddersfield Town midfielder Reece Brown has re-joined Sky Bet League 1 side Peterborough United on loan.

The 24-year-old has joined the Posh until the end of the 2020/21 campaign.

Reece had a brief spell on loan with Darren Ferguson’s side last season and went on to make 11 appearances.

Peterborough were seventh in the Sky Bet League 1 table, just one point outside the Play-Offs, when the 2019/20 season was curtailed due to COVID-19.

The attack-minded midfielder joined Town from Forest Green Rovers in the summer of 2019 and has made one appearance for the Club.

Reece’s contract at Town runs until the summer of 2022.

Huddersfield Town Head Coach Carlos Corberán commented:

“It’s important for Reece to have regular minutes.

“He plays in a position where there’s lots of competition for places and that makes it complicated for him to play here.

“The best option for us was to find a club where he can show what he can do. Peterborough is a club that knows him well, so it’s the perfect place to keep him developing.”
