Huddersfield Town supporters can now watch back all the action from the Club’s final pre-season friendly ahead of the 2020/21 campaign!
The Terriers played out an entertaining 3-3 draw with Manchester United’s Under-23s at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Carlos Corberan’s side had to respond to an early quickfire double from United who went 2-0 up inside the opening 20 minutes courtesy of goals from Mark Helm and Anthony Elanga.
And respond they did, almost immediately, when Alex Pritchard superbly found the top corner with a free-kick from the left side of the area’s edge to get one back for Town.
Shortly before half-time, good work from Aaron Rowe and Josh Koroma down the right worked an opportunity for Juninho Bacuna to level the scores back up, which he took as the sides went into the break at 2-2.
Having been the provider for that equaliser in the first half, Koroma turned goalscorer with a powerful strike from the edge of the area that found the top corner to complete the comeback and put Town into the lead for the first time in the game.
United’s youngsters responded late on however to ensure that the game would finish a draw, as Hannibal Mejbri found the target with a drilled strike to get the Reds on level terms once again.
