The first pre-season friendly for Huddersfield Town’s First Team has been confirmed, with Carlos Corberán’s side travelling to Southport on Saturday 22 August 2020.
The game, which will be played behind-closed-doors, will kick-off at 3pm at Southport’s ground, the Pure Stadium.
Managed by Liam Watson, the Sandgrounders play in the Vanarama National League North; the sixth tier of the English football pyramid. They finished 12th in the curtailed 2019/20 season.
Town Chairman Phil Hodgkinson was previously owner and Chairman at Southport.
