As the 2020/21 Sky Bet Championship campaign comes ever closer, here’s everything we know!
We’ll update this page as we learn more about the new season and the possibilities for supporters.

Return to pre-season
After a short off-season, Carlos Corberán’s side returned to the Club’s training complex on Monday 10 August 2020 for COVID-19 testing.
Their pre-season work will then begin on Wednesday 12 August 2020.
Season start date
The Sky Bet Championship season will begin on the weekend of Saturday 12 September 2020.
When are the fixtures coming out?
The fixture release date is still to be confirmed; however, we expect it some point this month. As soon as we know more, then we will let supporters know.
Will supporters be able to watch games in Stadia?
Nothing has been confirmed yet, and we are waiting for further information from governing bodies.
We are currently working through guidance on how we might facilitate a limited number of supporters at the John Smith’s Stadium, in case that becomes a possibility.
We will also speak to supporters in the ATT meeting later this month (August) to discuss the best/fairest way to do this.
What if supporters aren’t allowed into the Stadium?
As above, we are still waiting for guidance from the EFL as there’s a number of different variables.
iFollow HTAFC was the alternative option during the 2019/20 season restart, so if supporters can’t enter stadia, we would hope that a streaming service would be available again.
2020/21 Season Cards
Huddersfield Town supporters can still buy 2020/21 Season Cards, but we still don’t have clarity on whether supporters will be able to enter the Stadium.
As soon as we have clarity on supporters in stadia, we will be able to give Season Card holders their relevant options.
When will the kit be launched?
We will provide supporters with more information later this week.
