Striker ready to show off his managerial skills in EFL-wide tournament
- Karlan Grant will manage Huddersfield Town in the Football Manager Cup
- Striker will take on other EFL clubs in the tournament

Karlan Grant will represent Huddersfield Town in the Football Manager Cup!
The Town striker was keen to show off his managerial prowess and skill on the game by representing the Terriers in the upcoming fiercely contested competition.
The Football Manager Cup is a knockout tournament consisting of 54 teams in the EFL. Obviously, that doesn’t fit into a knockout system, so we’ve been told at least 10 teams will be given a ‘bye’ into the Second Round of the competition.
Town will face Oldham Athletic in the First Round of the competition as Karlan Grant takes on Latics winger Jonny Smith.

How will the competition work?
Well, the matches will be played on FM20 Touch Versus mode.
It’s a straight knockout tournament, with all ties comprising of one game. Each tie will go to extra-time and penalties if necessary, to produce a winner. The home team of each tie will host the match. Suspensions and injuries won't carry over to the next round.
