Huddersfield Town striker Karlan Grant discussed his highs and lows on Football Manager ahead of the First Round Cup match.

The Terriers, managed by Karlan, take on Oldham in the First Round of the Football Manager Cup on Tuesday (21 April 2020).

But what is Karlan Grant like as a manager? He revealed all when we caught up with him on #HTTV!

“I’m one of those managers that thinks the same way always, never ever changes. I have an idea how I want to play, but I won’t give anything anyway.”

All players on Football Managers have those success stories that live long in the memory and Karlan is no different.

“It’s a good game with a lot of head loss moments. Best moments… me and my mate play it a lot.

“He said that I couldn’t be Huddersfield Town in the Championship because it wasn’t fair, so I was Derby and he was Leeds, unfortunately. I got promoted to the Premier League and he went through the Play-Offs.

“I remember him going what were your tactics when you beat me. I ended up winning the Europa League with Derby, getting into the Champions League and having an absolute nightmare of a season.”
