Town’s official YouTube channel has brought you several 90 minutes from Town’s recent history at First Team level over the last three weeks, but today we’re trying something different.
We asked the Academy staff to pick one of their favourite games from the current season; one that will showcase to Town fans exactly what the teams are about within the youth system.
Incoming Academy Manager Emyr Humphreys selected the Under-17 Clarets Cup game against Blackburn Rovers from back in November 2019; an eight-goal thriller down at Canalside Sports Complex!
The Young Terriers certainly didn’t have it all their own way on the afternoon, but Jon Worthington’s side were great to watch – showing the qualities required to play the ‘Terriers Identity’.
