Missing the Terriers and your usual football fix? HTTV has you covered, with the full 90 minutes from Town’s 2-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers in November 2018!

A goal in each half from Aaron Mooy settled matters in the Midlands, extending a small run to three unbeaten heading into the Christmas period.

The Australian’s first goal of 2018 arrived courtesy of excellent work down the left and cross from the recalled Erik Durm, whose pinpoint cross found its way to the perfectly positioned midfielder on the edge of the box to drill home the opener.

Town were dominant and had three other great chances to extend the lead before the interval, but Mooy did get the all-important second as the game rolled on.

Steve Mounié's surge through the heart was illegally halted, allowing Mooy to step up and masterfully bend the resulting free-kick low around the wall and into the bottom corner, despite goalkeeper Rui Patrício getting a hand to the ball.

"A clean sheet, and two wonderful goals. Away wins are so hard in the Premier League, but the players fully deserved it. I think everyone has seen the spirit this group has today,” David Wagner told #HTTV post-match.

"Performance-wise, the players have shown comparable displays away from home all-season and I'm extremely pleased for them. It was a brave performance, and with our support, it was a great result.

"We wanted to beat them with their own weapon, by having a lot of ball possession. We had to be on top of them in terms of aggression, mentality and spirit, and we did that today."

Captain Tommy Smith added:

“I came in after the game and said to ‘Hoggy’, that was one of our best (away performances in the Premier League).

“We were comfortable, didn’t look like conceding and could’ve scored more than two goals. It’s up there with one of our best performances.

“We are all delighted. We knew it would be a tough place to come, but we worked hard this week on the training ground how to pose a threat to Wolves and how to stop them from playing; I think we executed that game plan perfectly.

“All credit to the players, the staff, the fans for turning up in their numbers again; it’s a great day for the Football Club.”
