- Town beat Blackpool in the final game at Leeds Road

Huddersfield Town’s 1993/94 campaign was a memorable one for supporters as it was the Club’s last at Leeds Road.

Ahead of the new season, the Terriers appointed Neil Warnock as their new Manager as they prepared for the Division Two campaign.

After an excellent end to the season – winning eight of their last 12 games – Town finished 11th, but the season was remembered for the excellent cup run.

Warnock’s side reached the Autoglass Trophy Final at Wembley before being beaten on penalties by Swansea City. Despite the result, the run inspired more Huddersfield Town supporters ahead of the move to the McAlpine Stadium.

You can watch all the games from that campaign and the sensation scenes after the final game at Leeds Road below on #HTTV!
