Danny Cowley makes two changes for his first game

- Danny Cowley selects his first Huddersfield Town side
- Tommy Elphick & Lewis O’Brien start vs Sheffield Wednesday
- Alex Pritchard (knee) unavailable today

Manager Danny Cowley has selected his first Huddersfield Town side for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Sheffield Wednesday; noon kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Cowley has recalled the experienced Tommy Elphick to the team this afternoon, who makes the 400th competitive appearance of his career. Tommy replaces Jaden Brown in the line-up, with the 20-year-old among the substitutes today.

The second change sees Lewis O’Brien make his first start in four games. The Academy graduate takes the place vacated by Rajiv van La Parra.

Alex Pritchard is absent from today’s squad due to a knee problem, so Isaac Mbenza and Jon Gorenc Stanković are on the bench.

Collin Quaner is also unavailable due to a hip injury.

Terence Kongolo makes his 50th league start for the Terriers today, whilst Fraizer Campbell makes his first back-to-back starts for the Club. Fraizer scored twice against today’s opponents for Hull City last season.
