Town’s Women faced Nottingham Forest last weekend but were beaten 2-1. A brace from Precious Hamilton sealed the three points for Forest, while Lucy Sowerby scored a consolation for Town.

Despite the result, Town are currently only three points behind top-of-the-table Sunderland.

The Women’s Team are backed by the Huddersfield Town Foundation, who provide a supporting pathway to get more women and girls involved in football.

This is done through their Wildcats programme and Player Development Centre to raise the footballing standard and to support schools to broaden the overall reach to female football.

The Player Development Centre starts on Tuesday, so to book your place please email Ashley.Vickers@htafcfoundation.com.
