Experts to help Town with equality, diversity and inclusion

- Independent Advisory Group to make a big difference in the community
- Group will help Town achieve the next Premier League Equality Standard level
- You can help the community by joining the group

Huddersfield Town’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Group is working together to make a difference at the Club and in the local community.

Town works with an Independent Advisory Group (IAG), made up from members of the public who reside in our diverse communities and act as a ‘critical friend’.

The IAG forum provides an opportunity to engage, consult and discuss the impact of Town’s equality work across the local communities surrounding the Football Club and Foundation.

There are currently six members on the Club’s Independent Advisory Group (IAG); Berenice Golding, Abdul Shaffaq Iqbal QC, Simon Cottrell, Stephen Garside, Terry Lodge and Solat Chaudhry.

The group will also help the Club and Foundation develop their practices and help play an important role in supporting Town to achieve the Premier League Equality Standard, as they work towards the Intermediate Level.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Club’s IAG, please contact Town’s HR Manager zoe.shackleton@htafc.com.
