The Young Terriers used this game to put the attacking movement they worked on in training into practice.
Jon Worthington’s youngsters created a number of openings in the first 45 minutes, however, went in behind as they conceded just before the break after a good finish from inside the area.
10 seconds into the second half, though, Town found an equaliser. Kit Elliott capitalised on a defensive error and slotted the ball neatly past the goalkeeper.
The home side responded well from the equaliser and went 3-1 up just after the hour mark.
That didn’t deter the Young Terriers, however, as one of the Club’s trialists pulled a goal back. He drove through a number of challenges and finished excellently.
Three minutes later and the scores were level, once again. This time, a different trialist received the ball and lifted an effort over the goalkeeper from range.
Farsley regained the lead in the 88th minute, but that didn’t stop the youngsters finding a way back into the game.
Substitute Sam Sharrock-Peplow drove down the left-hand side and drilled an effort into the back of the net.
